Emerald Technology Ventures expands in North America

The events of 2020 highlighted the importance of innovation both in product offering and operations. Emerald continues to be on the forefront of innovation, backing the most promising industrial technology companies and connecting open innovation partners to its multinational corporate investors. To further strengthen our activities in North America, Emerald has recently expanded the Toronto-based team.
We are excited to welcome Ben Abadi as Investment Director – Finance, who brings a strong venture capital track record in the energy sector and other industries. In recent months, Clayton MacDougald, a veteran of the water industry, joined as a Sector Specialist with a particular focus on our USD 100 M Global Water Impact Fund. Earlier in the year, Dr. Ana Ramos joined as Technology Analyst to expand our depth in molecular biology. They join existing Emerald team members Dr. Neil Cameron, Frank Balas, Dr. Graham Carey and Erica Yoon in the Toronto office.
