Thierry Borner

Based in our Zurich office, Thierry Borner is currently a Corporate Finance and M&A specialist with Emerald Technology Ventures focusing on the investment process encompassing due diligence, valuation, structuring and exits.

Before joining Emerald, Thierry headed the Corporate Development Team at UMB AG and – prior to that – he worked as an M&A Consultant at The Corporate Finance Group AG. For several years, he has been involved in corporate finance and M&A transactions. From deal origination to execution, he was involved in several trade sales and fundraisings. Thierry also interned at Ernst & Young Ltd. and Credit Suisse AG as a financial analyst during his studies.

Thierry holds a Master’s degree in Banking & Finance from the University of St. Gallen (M.A. HSG). He is fluent in German and English and proficient in French.
