Zurich, Switzerland – Emerald Technology Ventures, a global climate tech venture capital firm, is pleased to announce the appointment of Dr. James Rekoske to its Advisory Council. With more than 30 years of experience in the chemical industry, Dr. Rekoske brings deep technical, strategic and leadership expertise and a passion for innovation that will support Emerald’s continued efforts to accelerate industrial sustainability.
Dr. Rekoske began his distinguished career at Honeywell UOP, where he rose to Vice President and Chief Technology Officer, leading global technology organizations across research, process development and commercialization. Most recently, he served as Senior Vice President, Enterprise Technology Platforms & Growth at Ecolab, directing R&D strategy for a global leader in water, hygiene and infection prevention, and overseeing technical assessments for venture capital investments and M&A deals. Dr. Rekoske retired from Ecolab in 2025 and currently advises several venture capital and private equity firms, including American Industrial Partners and Decarbonization Partners.
