Susana Quintana-Plaza

Energy and Cleantech Advisor, Investor and Board Member

Susana previously served on the board of directors and executive committee of Galp, where she built their renewables and decentralized energy businesses from the ground up. She also created and launched a project to build a lithium refinery facility in Portugal with the strong support of the Portuguese government and EU.

Susana began her career at the Boeing Commercial Airplane Group in Seattle in 1998, where she held several positions. She has also held senior roles in Booz Allen Hamilton, GE and E.ON, where she spearheaded the firm’s venture capital initiatives. She also served as a partner at next47, the corporate venture arm of Siemens.

She holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and bachelor’s and master’s degrees in aeronautical engineering from the University of Washington.
