When we first came together in 2000, we shared a bold conviction: that innovation would be key to solving the world’s greatest environmental challenges. What we didn’t know then—but are immensely proud to reflect on now—is how enduring our partnership would be.
I often say that venture capital is as much about people as it is about ideas. That sentiment couldn’t be more true when I think about my three partners—Markus, Hans, and Charles. Over two and a half decades, through every economic cycle and every reinvention of the cleantech landscape, the four of us have stuck together.
