Koshiba-san is the former Chairman Emeritus of JSR Corporation, a global materials innovation company headquartered in Tokyo, where he played a pivotal role in reshaping the business towards cutting-edge semiconductor materials and life sciences. Under his leadership, JSR became a key global player in its domain, known for fostering technological excellence and sustainability. He has also served on many Boards and Advisory Councils including: Spiber Inc., Mitsui O.S.K.Lines Ltd., A Holdings Corp., Cambridge Quantum Computing Ltd., Idemitsu Kosan Co. Ltd, LINE Corporation, and Fortaegis.
