Financial Institutions Act (FinIA) and Financial Services Act (FinSA)

Emerald Technology Ventures AG is authorised and regulated by the Swiss Financial Market Supervisory Authority FINMA and is licensed as an asset manager of collective assets pursuant to Art. 24 para. 1 of the Financial Institutions Act (FinlA). It may therefore provide the full range of asset management services, including the management and distribution of collective investment schemes, advisory or discretionary mandates, and the reception and transmission of orders in financial instruments. The Swiss Financial Services Act (FinSA) aims to strengthen investor protection and establish comparable standards for financial service providers. It requires that financial service providers to introduce enhanced conduct rules and provide their clients with comprehensive information and documentation. Whenever required, Emerald Technology Ventures AG will complement its existing practices with FinSA measures, e.g. regarding the information and documentation processes when providing financial services to clients.
