Alex Mercandetti
Technology Analyst
Based in our Zurich office, Alex is a technology analyst providing support reviewing potential investment opportunities, sourcing new deals, and actively researching emerging technologies. Furthermore, he supports the management agency of the Technology Fund by analysing and evaluating applications for loan guarantees and submitting recommendations to the guarantee committee.
Prior to joining Emerald, Alex gained experience through working at Covestro Deutschland AG and at Grundfos. He holds a master’s diploma in Chemical and Bioengineering from ETH Zurich and is fluent in German, English and Italian.
