Christina Held

Based in our Zurich office, Christina Held is currently a Corporate Finance and M&A specialist with Emerald Technology Ventures, focusing on the investment process, including due diligence, valuation, structuring, and exits.

Prior to joining Emerald, Christina worked for six years at EY in Zurich, Switzerland, in the M&A and Corporate Finance team within the Strategy and Transactions service line. While gaining broad experience across various industries, she dedicated the last two years at EY to a particular focus on sustainability and climate-related topics. During her time at EY, she led and supported M&A transactions, providing strategic advisory services for buy-side and sell-side deals, corporate carve-outs, succession planning, fundraisings, and cross-border transactions. In addition, she managed project execution, coordinated stakeholders, conducted due diligence including financial modeling and prepared transaction documentation.

Christina holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Fribourg and a master’s degree in Accounting and Finance from the University of St. Gallen. Additionally, she earned a Climate Change certificate from the University of Cambridge.
