Michael Revensburg

Based in the Zurich office, Michael Revensburg is the General Counsel for Emerald Technology Ventures and is responsible for legal, regulatory and compliance. 

Before joining Emerald, Michael was the General Counsel of a boutique venture capital fund. In his previous role, he worked in UBS Switzerland AG in the private equity team with responsibility for legal and regulative matters and UBS AG in the legal team with responsibility for hedge funds and general legal fund related matters. Prior to UBS, he worked for the Danske Bank Group in various legal departments relating to asset management, wealth management, M&A and general banking legal matters.

Cumulatively, Michael has amassed over 20 years of fund, corporate and financial legal experience and has worked in Switzerland, Denmark and the United Kingdom.

Michael holds a bachelor’s in law from the University of Copenhagen and master’s degree in law from the University of Copenhagen with part of it taken at the University of New South Wales in Sydney. Michael was admitted to the bar in Denmark in 2005.
