MetGen

A new wave in bio-based materials

MetGen develops and markets engineered industrial enzymes. The multi-copper oxidases disrupt the lignin network in cellulosic biomass and are designed to work in harsh industrial environments. These properties can be applied in thermo-mechanical pulping for paper production to reduce the energy consumption or in cellulosic biomass hydrolysis in combination with cellulase enzymes for the production of low cost sugars from renewable feedstock.
